Team Spitfire: Out of Mind [8]

AKA that time Matoaka almost gave Hex whiplash, if it weren’t for the fact that she didn’t have a neck.

If you’re thinking ‘that was too easy’ in regards to Matoaka finding her way onto Team Spitfire: I didn’t want to waste anybody’s time, especially given how slowly I produce these things, and dedicating several pages to Matoaka constantly striking out and having to live in the temporary housing provided by the school would have taken forever and potentially made people lose interest. If I go back and read over these comics a few years from now I’ll grumble about how shoddily I had handled the pacing, and I’m sure if somebody else reads them all in one clip now they’ll have a similar feeling. But what’s most important to me right now is moving the story along.
