Tumblr Ask: Evolve

Going to have a little bit of realtalk here.

I'm far from being an authority when it comes to having abusive family, and living in an abusive environment. For a while I wasn't even sure if I was going to release this. I don't like the thought of characters getting hurt as part of their growth - especially female characters - but the fact is that this sort of thing exists regardless. And I have far too many characters with happy backstories, so one emerging victorious from a broken life feels exciting, sorta.

And to abate any potential questions, no, Raidah was never raped. That's the one thing I'll never do to a character.
