This is Shurai, my Raichu out of my choice of 6 Pokemon for my trainer girl. She does not have a name yet, so for now, let's call her TG.

In his prime, Shurai belonged to the father of TG, but soon grew an attachment to her not long after she was born. Shurai became sort of guardian for TG, always by her side keeping her company as well as out of trouble. When TG was old enough to begin her journey as a Pokemon trainer, rather than choosing a traditional starter, her first choice was Shurai. Despite his beginning to gray, Shurai undoubtedly joined her.

Shurai is the eldest of TG's Pokemon and the most experienced. While not as spry as he used to be, he can still hold his own well enough in a battle. Every once in a while though, he does need a moment to catch his breath. He suffers a slight limp in his right foot, and bares the scars of an old wound from a fierce battle. He's also grown a bit of a belly in his age.

Overall, Shurai is steadfast and compassionate to his trainer and fellow Pokemon, making a choice companion for TG. And yes, he is a shiny Raichu.
