He was finished a couple weeks ago and made his debut on this past Sunday's "Funday Pawpet Show". Presenting, JOAQUIN!!!

BIO: Joaquin claims to be a descendent of the legendary Phoenix. The truth is that he merely migrated from Magdalena, Mexico to Phoenix (100% legally, of course). He quickly found work as a tree trimmer and is saving as much money as he can to bring the rest of his "familia" to the States. When the work day is over, you can often find him unwinding with baseball, Lucha Libre, or a Cheech & Chong movie, all of which are usually paired with a shot or two of tequila.

I used the same pattern as the "Surfin' Bird", but with different materials and a couple tweaks to the beak size and shape. Also tried a different method of assembling his pieces as to make it easier and faster to connect all his dots. This guy will be staying with me as a "demo model" for this bird design.... you know, just in case. ;)
