Something I did months and months ago. I'm uploading it here because I'm finally going to be able to start working on it again! This is a largely experimental mask-making project for me, using methods more common to replica helmet makers. I modeled out the form on the computer, and turned the whole thing into a giant paper craft. This picture is not the most recent either, so far the entire head has been coated in fiberglass resin, and the inside stiffened with full FRP. It doesn't look much different though, so no picture. I'm going to start work on filling out the facets and turning it into a completely smooth form for future mold-making.

The character is going to be Matakichi from the Namennayo! manga. Some obscure little thing with really cute cats!
