The beachball lands in front of you. You stare at it, not wanting to intervene. You were midway into reading your book. Getting up now and touching the hot sand would put you out of your comfort zone... but then HE arrives. A large, silly smile was plastered onto his face. His eyes examined you, then the ball, then you.

He laughs heartily, placing both hands on his large, cream-colored belly. "Sorry 'bout that! Dunno my own strength sometimes!" At that, he bends over, letting his heft lap over his shorts as he reached for the ball, having a bit of difficulty getting past his midriff.

All the while, you could only watch, gawking at this lad... he looks rather cute.
