Updated drawing of Mia at the time (though I miscolored her tongue in the lower left corner). She is a black nekomata that was once a living cat but died tragically. She doesn't really remember much about her death and doesn't let it keep her down. She has the ability to cause good or bad luck. It is random how good or how bad the luck will be for the other person. She lived with a group of nekomatas that acted like a family and protected one another. She has a fascination with mortals even though she had been told to keep out of their business and not to care about them. She never liked it when she would see a spirit hurting an innocent person and always wanted to do something but was told not to get involved. She once did and it almost costed her and her sister's life (yokai can still die in a way) and was then kicked out of her pack for causing trouble. She left and got on a boat hoping that maybe being out away from her homeland would help. The boat eventually docked in the coast of California, USA and she got out. Ready to explore this new land.
