Splinter and Splinter and Splinter by Phraggle

Splinter and Splinter and Splinter

Phraggle

This was drawn with the parallel universe theme in mind, from the TMNT movie, " Turtles Forever ". ( They do a story about how different incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet each other and have a wacky adventure saving... everything. More info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_Forever ).

So I did 3 of my favorite versions of Master Splinter. There's the original cartoon Splinter, the original comic book Splinter ( colorized ) and the Splinter from the 2007 CGI movie, " TMNT ". Dunno how this all came about but the Splinters seem to be making the best of things, yakking it up and feeding the pigeons... & some seemingly confused Mousers.
Then there's Foof. ;-)

For the record, I do like the Nickelodeon Splinter as well. I may do him later.

    Damn yooouuu, now I've gone and bought it. I love crossovers/parallel dimensions and other times and space... Wait, this is getting to sound familiar. >_>;

        Yup. Still waiting for it to arrive though!

          It's got some cool stuff in it. I won't say anything else until you've seen it. :-)

            Okay seen it, ad no longer want to watch the 80's show for some reason! XD

            My only regret is the original Splinter wasn't in it more, or met his counter part, and was lumbered with the 80's nitwits XD

              I mean 80's splinter, not original. Too many splinters! Whaa!

                Yeah, the movie was fun but it was better in concept than in execution. I didn't care for how they showed the 80s Turtles world as Wacky Land. The original cartoon wasn't really like that at all... but, one could say that that was just another parallel universe. Yeah, it would've been nice if the Splinters interacted but maybe they were all too wise to do that.... although, it's not like it would affect the time line or anything. ;-)

                The big thing I wish they did was get the original voice actors to do the original toon turtle voices. I'm not sure, but Krang & Shredder may have had their original voices. I saw that they did get the original turtle voices for a bit part in the Nicktoon series.

                  I can't remember their voices well, though 80's Leo sounded nothing like I thought all the same. As it's been so long, I did think Krang, Shredder, Bebob and Rocksteady all had the same voices, but like I say, can't remember for good enough comparison. :>

                  Funny you mention voice changes, Leo's voice changed in the current Nick turtles show recently, and it was part of the cartoon too as to why it did. (I don't follow it, It was just on as I was passing a TV.) He sounded a bit like the 80's one in Turtles forever with his 'new' voice. :P

                    I did see a newer Nicktoon episode where Seth Green had taken over Leo's voice. I'm not sure if I like it since the first voice they had for Leo on the show was a better fit. But, I'd have to watch some more to maybe get used to it. Actually, at first, I kinda thought the guy that does Benson's voice on " Regular Show " was Leo, but it wasn't. :-)
