Here's Anakin Skywalker after his vision-quest/adventure on a planet called Nelvaan from the original Clone Wars cartoon series. Once it was revealed that Anakin was destined to free the captured male Nelvaanian people, a shaman of their race tossed a bunch of slugs things onto Ani which crawled over his skin leaving those blue tattoo things in their wake. It's gross but a neat concept. After experiencing a vision of a highly-likely future, Anakin wound up saving the enslaved, genetically & bionically enhanced Nelvaan warriors while destroying his robotic arm in the process... ( which was also a means to explain why he had a new arm in " Revenge of the Sith " (( which took place soon after this adventure )).
