One of my favorite characters in all of the Star Wars is Greedo. He's an overconfident dork and is really good at shooting second ( as opposed to shooting first ). He was one of the few cantina aliens I wasn't afraid to look at way back during my first viewings of the original Star Wars. According to the book " Star Wars, Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina ", the cantina bartender, Wuher, turned Greedo's body into a beverage and gave it to Jabba the Hutt. I dunno if he had a smooth finish or not.

Well, there was the story in " Tales of the Mos Eiesley Cantina that told his back story... at the time anyway. I like to pretend his appearance in the Clone Wars was a case of mistaken identity. I didn't care for him being in that. I prefer to think Greedo was in his early 20s when he got blasted. He could appear in the Han solo movie. I saw in the Blu-Ray version that it now appears that Han & Greedo shoot at the same time.

Poor Greedo. I swear it looks like Han shoots him in the dick. Do we ever learn what his beef with Han was? He seemed really gleeful about the idea of killing him. "I've been looking forward to this for a long time." Did he and Han have some kind of past? Or is Han just the kind of guy who half the people in the galaxy want to kill after talking to him for more than five minutes? The Force Awakens suggests it's the latter, considering Bala-Tik and Tasu Leech's anger with him ("There's no one in the galaxy left for your to swindle!"). While I like the idea of Han being such a sucky people person that everywhere he goes people want to kill him, I do wonder what, specifically, he did to earn Greedo's ire.
