What a lovely piece! And look at the style of rendering... very unique. It's almost as if she's entirely comprised of perfectly-cut pieces of construction paper, each with the right shades and shapes. I've never seen this before, and I love it. Fantastic work!

After seeing that description, I took a nice, long look at all the details I could find...

Most of the outfit looks like a uniform of some kind, judging by the repeated blue stripe/gold pentagon motif. I'm guessing she's a soldier or a guard or something. The brown cloak doesn't seem to match the rest of the ensemble - as if it's something she threw on for a (possibly unexpected) trip, rather than part of a uniform meant for traveling or bad weather - so maybe guard. All the polished metal and ornamentation seems to hint at a classier position than common soldier, too.

The cape is pretty tattered, but it looks like it could be older than the uniform, so that might just be because it's worn from age. However, the uniform itself also has some damage - the rips in the hem, the missing arm-strap bit on the left. That hint of fabric revealed by the sagging left side could just be an ordinary support undergarment of some sort, but there's also that faint stain on her chest. Blood? She doesn't look clumsy enough to spill drinks on herself. I'm guessing that she was wounded, possibly by the same blow that broke her left arm-strap, and that fabric is a bandage covering the wound. If that's the case, the wound was clearly recent enough to still be bandaged, but not recent enough to be limiting her range of movement much; she's had enough time to wash the stain almost to invisibility (unless it's just really stain-resistant cloth), but not enough time to get the outfit mended. She's been fighting, not long ago, and hasn't had a break in a while. But she's still going.

Between all those details and her overall attitude/posture, I get the impression that this is Day Two of the Siege, or possibly Approaching the End Boss.

This is a really interesting idea, in any case, and fascinating to investigate! (Not to mention beautifully drawn, as always.) How close did I get?
