My first "doll" creature.

Head, claws and feet are sculpy clay painted with acrylics and sealed with gloss.

Eyes, freckles and toe nails were painted with gold enamel.

Body is faux fur sewn and filled with raw rice. The neck is wrapped in feather boa.

Wings have metal wire armature with loop joints that I tried to make so they only bend in the proper direction.

They are covered in black faux velvet, and cotton print fabric with hot glue.

Feet and claws are curved to allow a multitude of hanging positions.

Tail (not shown) is faux velvet.

Took about 13-15 hours total.

Only thing I would've changed is to use a matte gloss instead of shiny, any recommendations on the best matte gloss to buy?
