heres two of my most depressing chars devon and cher.
like most people born into this family (its very large and they are all spread out pretty far over the planet) devon and cher where chosen to be together to produce pups with the desired look (they want your breed/family to be a single colour without odd patterns, white hair and eyes along with a lighter skin colour, for them this is considered 'perfect', its a very long running ideal ) to which they do have! both chow and zal are only one block colour, they are not the only ones with this 'perfection' but it does still give them a very high position with in the breed.
anywho this is about devon and cher, they both had partners before hand but once they hit 15 their parents told them they had to stop playing around and get serous about their future and rind 'real' partners back then there was no discussion about "but i dont love/know..." they where pick and just had to get along best they could.
for years they where pretty happy, they didnt hate one another and for a short time really did love one another, dont like they had much of a choice even after the rules for partnerships became more lax it would been seen as shameful for them to split......though in the end they did...

well a few months before this cher leaves devon which is the start.....well it when things start to noticeably crumble around them and zal cracks completely, most of his close family is killed by zal and he no long feels able to keep his pack/city safe to which chow, they son he was forced to shun (he was meet to kill him but couldnt do to so sent him to live with a friend as far as they could go in the city so he wouldnt be found) had to take charge to help clean up the mess zal left behind....and the bodies.
once everything starts to get back on its feet devon leaves to find cher still hopping to fix what every they had.
