some girls from two dreams i had the other night that i have made into ocs!

the setting was a violently homophobic high school in an even scarier town. it started off being about a naive guy who seemed to have good intentions, but had a lot to learn as he had total faith in everything his bigoted figures of authority (such as his family and school staff) had to say, and pitied and feared for all of the homosexuals that were to be 'damned to hell'
BUT after robynn, his tall cool (and bisexual) lady friend, a rebel detested by the school staff, was introduced, it became about her instead (thank god)

right in the middle of a presentation at a school assembly in the auditorium, robynn stood in front of alleah, a tiny shy nerd girl, and unabashedly confessed that she wanted to be her girlfriend, getting mixed reactions from the students around them who had heard. while unsurprisingly many of them were disgusted, some of the students actually cheered for the bold confession, and cheered again when alleah quietly admitted she would like that very much

the dream became about robynn and alleah's blossoming relationship in an environment that was totally against them (especially robynn, as the principal had already been breathing down her neck for having a 'haircut that might give people the wrong idea about her,' as it was a rule in the school which was obsessed with gender roles for 'girls to have long hair and boys to have short hair'). they spent the most of the two dreams i had about them sneaking around and sometimes getting caught by the principal or other staff members. their friends knew of their relationship, and the ones who didn't disown them for their own safety or reputation kept quiet and protected them, including robynn's male friend from the beginning of the first dream, who finally took time to understand the genuine feelings of non-heterosexual individuals, learning the system is fucked and changing his views in support of not only his friend but for all innocent people who just want to love each other without consequence

unfortunately, most of the dream(s) was spent in the POV of alleah, so i totally ended up with a crush on robynn's cool and doting self ._.
