Personality:
JingJing is in a word: eccentric. She loves running around, loves getting dirty, and absolutely ADORES being involved. If there is anything she is curious about she won't rest until she has the answer. This attribute makes her rather reckless as well especially in her actions. It makes her rather brave and bold as well. Because of a combination of both her eccentricity and her age, JingJing does lack a brain to mouth filter and will occasionally say things that seem either far out (read:weird) there or not particularly tactful. She means well though.

History: JingJing was born in China but adopted at an early age by a single father named James Chen, a new reporter from America for a popular world news business. They lived together in Beijing, China for 10 years before James decided to move back home to be closer with his family and allow JingJing to get to know them better. This decision was short lived however for in a few months after JingJing and James moved to a small close-knit town in California, James received a promotion...and asked to cover a civil war overseas. Not wanting to put JingJing in harms way, James left her to stay with her Aunt and Uncle who promised to take care of her and help her though her first time in an American school. He comes to visit periodically still however and sends JingJing gifts such as the monster trading card deck which eventually became what she uses to power up Hi.

School was...difficult to say the least for JingJing. She liked to dress differently than the other kids, she had a weird and very public imagination, and hated being told what to do. Add in her thick Chinese accent and she was the perfect target for being bullying by the children of the town. Her aunt and uncle did notice her bruises and damaged property on occasion but saying as JingJing never told them about it (she didn't want to burden them since they had already gone to great lengths to accommodate her), they never thought much of it beyond the result of her liveliness. Thus JingJing put up with it....that was until one fateful day when JingJing had mouthed off to a rude but popular boy in her grade and was chased after school by them as they threw rocks and sticks at her. She was almost caught by them in a construction site until she took a daring leap across a large deep hole which allowed her to finally be separated from them. She hid for a bit despite this in a large metal pipe before she was found by Hisomon. He had viewed the entire scene from a hiding spot up on some metal framework and had been impressed by her bravery (although at the time he made it sound more like he was chastising her for recklessness).

After a brief exchange they wound up being partners and under Hisomon's advice JingJing found the courage to tell her Aunt and Uncle about the bullying and was permitted to enroll elsewhere. As of now

Likes: Clothes, running, recording things on her camera phone, tacos, action movies, and her rollerskates

Dislikes: Fruit, vegetables, being told what to do, loosing socks, long periods of quiet

Talents: Video recording and rollerskating

Habits: She often will yell when excited. Uses gestures a lot when talking

Occupation: Middle School Student

Relationship with their Digimon: They are very close and nearly inseparable although the way they interact is a lot like exasperated teacher and restless student.

Digimon Partner: Himon or "Hi" (pronounced "He") as Jingjing likes to call him is a fairly smart digimon. He likes to think before he acts but will not back away from danger. He tends to talk to JingJing in a very matter of fact tone and frequently corrects her for being reckless and uncouth but he does care. He is also very protective of her although he may not always go to painstaking length to follow her every whim (he does have standards... some of her ideas are outlandish in his opinion). She is also the only person he allows to see his eyes which he normally keeps shut to "conserve energy for later and hone his skills". That being said, he only opens them when he's serious or agitated. Its worth mentioning that his personality stays consistent regardless of the form. He also likes to be called "Hi" no matter his form as well.
