Okay, first off, I have two species of dragons that are based off Dromaeosauridae species (think Velociraptor). This is supposed to be the smaller of the two. I am going to stop drawing my raptors with crests as exaggerated as this, but they will still be there. Just smaller.
This is just a head shot of an individual I based off the Spotted Towhee. They are very pretty birds, albeit simple in colouring.
The orange/red is supposed to be lighting XD. Sorry about that!

I know that raptor dragons are not 100% original, but I am referring to the name that I will come up with. I do not care if you have a type of dragon similar to this species as long as you don't use the name to describe it. The name, scientifically, is Volantis ungue or "Flying Claw." If you want to make a raptor dragon, or have, that is fine. Just don't use the same name unless it is coincidental (because that happens XD).
