The Chinese character for good luck or fortune is “fu”, which sounds similar to bat. Thus, traditional Chinese culture believed that bats were a good luck sign. “Upside down” and “arrive” are also homophones, and displaying “fu” upside down was even more fortuitous.
This design features a Chinese lucky knot, with a gold bat hanging upside down on the knot. With the word for “fu”, on it’s belly.
This can be purchased on my redbubble! Default product is a clock, but you can get it as a tote bag, pillow, or sticker!
