Some things to note about Prainan:
Crown is keratin based, with an outer layer of periostracum. It continuously grows throughout the Prainan's life-span, sometimes even into the skull or inhibiting major sensory organs.
Quills in back recede when heart rate is normal, and extend out of body when angered or other emotional distress. They can also detach from the back but grow back quickly.
Upper teeth point outward; upper central and lateral incisors form a comb for interspecies grooming. Lower teeth point inward to aid swallowing, also tongue is forked with a flat triangular blade to ensure food only goes in one direction.
Eyes contain both a round and vertical slit pupil. Eyes are very sensitive to flashing lights and other drastic light changes.
