This was part of an idea I had for Alex when I played Pirate DnD with some people at the college I used to go to. If we were up against a large enemy, I would ask if there was a cannon nearby, and if there was, I'd say "Captain!! props a foot up on a crate or something and points at the enemy LAUNCH ME AT IT!!" I would then have them load me into a cannon and launch me at the enemy, and as I was flying towards them, I'd sing the chorus to Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus, changing wrecking to cannon, and making various other changes to suit the situation.
