Flash-fiction assignment done for my creative writing class. Was required to be under 500 word. It killed me to cut down on so much, ahahah.

It was originally called "Lost" & I forgot to change the file to say "The Guide," which is a title suggested to me by a friend (who also helped a lot during editing!)
