This was a style test. I want to find something that is sort of minimalist and at the same time appealing. You might be able to recognize the artist I borrowed this from.

The image next to it was intended to be a fully black and white piece that I used a photo to work from (I will probably add the link later Im just tired at this point) In the end I decided to add some color.

An environmental study from one of the main countries in Pherosia. Sarapoivia is a mountainous region riddled with huge cave systems and hot springs. It is easily known as the most hostile region to live since it has at least 15 species of wyvern and the occasional dragon. On top of that the cold air from the mountain's constant blizzards will sometimes trap poisonous gasses and kill any thing trapped in some of the more active hot spots.

Winter's gate is a mysterious structure built only three miles from winter's heart (where the fable dragon claims residence.) It is said that passing through the gate will bring you great fortune or great sadness. The gate is believed to be where Noka (a human that had been given the duty of guarding Brom's soul) was transformed into Nokarioshou after passing into the shadow lands.
