January 28th 2013 was when KuroDeMangaKa and I first started RPing, and that was when we tried our hand at this couple first before the other thousands jumped down the tubes. I feel they are our poster child couple in a way. The very first RP was the Brotherhood trying to get Haven II up and running with everyone out of the Twilight Cage and trying to get back to normal. Sara-Li was watching over the orphans and those trying to live on after being in the barren Twilight Cage for so long while Thunderhawk took to the streets to see the damage that had been done. Being introduced to Sara-Li by Remington, he got to know her a bit better as time continued and even if the guardians swore off the idea of loving again and to remain focused on their job, Thunderhawk found himself sneaking away to see Sara-Li more and more.

Their first date was in a crystal cave that Thunderhawk usually spent his time during his youth and even in his older years in silence to meditate and relax when he felt too much was coming down on him. Finding out more about Sara-Li there, he hoped he could fill the void and bitterness that was left there from her prior love with Troy and losing her son, Luke.

Found out to not be focused on his job, Sojourner gave him an ultimatum: to stop seeing Sara-Li and continue on his duties as a guardian or continue seeing Sara and leave the Brotherhood and be forbidden from returning if his heart was going to be focused on one woman.

Thunderhawk chose Sara-Li and left the Brotherhood--living in Sara's apartment for many years even after their first daughter, Naveah-Li is born, and they manage to find Luke.

When their family grows more, Thunderhawk works on making a bigger house for them with help from his relatives, as they attempt to not begrudge him for his past choice. Many years later, Naveah and Luke grow up and are married with children of their own, they have Nicoli, the twins: Tomahawk and Lyanna-Li, and now, Thane.

Given their marriage has gone through so much, he still takes her to the crystal caves on their anniversary every year and will probably even take her there when she's on her death bed. Even if they've had the 'death' talk before, Thunderhawk cannot handle the idea very well and will do whatever he can to keep her his.

Even if it's only been a year, they've been through a lot, and I guess a year is hardly even dog years to these two. XDD I made them older in this image given how old they probably should be.

Cannot wait to see what another, possibly, year will have in store for these two. It's been a fun year with them and with KuroDeMangaKa. <3
