I almost turned the mermaid into sushi, because those scales...jeezus! 8C

The scene could be anything--maybe nameless mermaid pulled an Ariel and saved Thunderhawk from the ocean, and he's bringing the island down to water level so they can talk, or he could very well just be on another landmass of some sort. He's gonna get kicked in the ass for that move, right there. Be on high alert, mermaid--Thunderhawk might end up BACK in the ocean if the Brotherhood finds out what he's doing.
