I think I learned quite a bit between the two paintings I've done. :P Obviously this one is a lot more refined and not as brushy, but part of that is because I was actually using the right brush instead of just being lazy.
Anyhoo. picked an actual character of mine for Alizentha this time. Not 100% sure I'm happy with her skin color because initially I wanted blueish, but then I realized I pointedly left OUT blues so that way isvarnii wouldn't look like dunmer. But on the other hand, I really like the way the color interacted in the end. WE SHALL SEE IF IT STICKS.
Wish I had enough of an audience to do commissions of these. It's nice to be able to work small and just do some fun portraits. I remember the inks being hard to work with when I was back in school but I dunno, they seem fun to work with now.
