I remember this. I commented on it before.

      Wut.

Yes. I have seen this picture before.

Only other place I posted it was FurCrapAffinity and DeviantSlut.

The former. And it's better than this place. No homo.

Nah, Dragoneer is like one of those fat people who think they can run an entire website, but it ends up looking like it was made in 1998 in the year 2012 and the code ends up having a very large amount of security holes, but since his soul has already been sold to a lazy programmer who won't let anyone else look at the code, so the site stays stagnant.

Just check that site out. I'm sure you'll love it.

Yeah no. I'm only here temporarily.

                  Enjoy your stay, nonetheless.

                    Bah, it's pretty lame already.

Yeah, 2012 designs are so 2012. 1998 designs are so in.

I'm just not nearly as impressed as I expected to be. So, yeah.

It's 10 times more secure, looks 100 times better, and gets regular updates! What else could you ask for?

I have nothing that needs to be secured on FA or here.

Real jobs are for chumps right?

Okay, tell me one thing that's on FA that I need secured?

Ok. Information on what you've viewed? Email address? If someone wanted to post this stuff for public viewing for ANYONE to see online, it could ruin someones professional job. (assuming a fur could hold a professional job to begin with.)

                                  • Link

                                    1. My name is not on FA and never has been.
                                    2. I have several email addresses. The one that is connected to FA is connected to only recreational sites. Professional work, etc, gets my other email(s).
                                    3. Plenty of my work can be found on google images if someone was to try hard enough to find it.
                                    4. If someone really has the time to somehow piece together the little information about me on my FA (aka, my email) to anything else about me, they apparently have nothing else to do with their time. Even more so, if they were to get on the one password I have for my FA, they would still have to go through the effort of figuring out every other password I have for every other website. I do not reuse passwords.

But a number of people DO reuse passwords. It isn't safe, and stupid when you think about it, but people don't want to have to write down 50 passwords for every site they are on. These people are inevitably screwed if the site gets hacked into and the passwords aren't strongly hashed (which they aren't.)

                                      • Link

Well, the problem here is, the hackers would have to go through the effort of figuring out what sites the person is on other than FA. Even if they were to get that far, now it's a matter of figuring out usernames or security questions.

                                        • Link

Gmail account + Password that has been reused on FA. I now have every site that person has EVER registered on.

                                          • Link

Of course, now it's also a matter of sifting through the emails (if you're like me, you never delete old emails) and in many cases, just having an email address isn't enough to change a password or log on to a website.

                                            • Link

Change Email password. Do search in Gmail for "username". Go to site and request password reset. enter username and email. PROFIT???
