DEUS DE SAPIENTIAM by Omni

DEUS DE SAPIENTIAM

Omni

In the absence of my people, I've come to discover interesting things. They have evolved so well into beings that I could not imagine that my brother had any idea what he made that day in mockery of my image. In a way...I'm proud of them and I'm proud that they claim me as their God. I suppose in due time I will bring fourth other forces that they may find guidance, in fact, I have done that with you. You being the Last One wasn't written in the books. It wasn't even supposed to happen, but it did and I am proud of you, child. Though your actions were...questionable, the task was still done properly. I leave this planet soon, but leave neither empty handed or forgotten. Because you have helped me so far, I grant you both transcendence from your mortal coils and my blessings of an Avatar. A God. Speaker. Listener. And Watcher. Of what Deity shall you be?

...I know not how to answer this question, Lord...

There is some time. I ask that you think quickly, but with care...

I ask for two things....

Yes?

I wish to be of Wisdom. I am curious of this planet. Of all planets. I love to read, I indulge myself in knowledge and my mind feels to be forever empty to take in everything I see. Grant me to be the God of Wisdom for your people. I will be of careful thought and common sense. The young will pray for my guidance and the old will be my priests that contain such knowledge. Quick of wit, careful in act, strong in thought. For the brain is beautiful and I wish to be a part of it and use it all the same. Grant me the freedom to explore this planet and know every detail of it. Allow me to explore its forests, interact with its natives, and delve into the hidden secrets within caves that guard with darkness. I will be the illumination and enlightenment of ideas, discoveries, and projects.

And of the second?

Grant me peace. Peace of mind and of body. I still wish to feel the suffering of pain both physical and emotional. Such 'mortal' things confirm that I am not entirely far gone and that I am still alive and bound by this level of simplicity. If I burn, I burn. It will hurt. I will heal. A scar will wash over it, but I beg of thee to grant me that I may be tame and merciful. Let me feel bliss and calm when all others feel hellish so that I may heal them. Allow me to be focused and clear when all else is chaotic around me.

So you wish for apathy?

No. I can be apathetic all on my own with ease. What I want is inner peace. Remove my blights of nightmares from the past and grant me undisturbed sleeps. Grant me the blessing that my emotions and personality won't be affected by my mistakes and that I am able to mend my mistakes if any are and were made. That is all I ask. Those two things..

Accepted. Now begone! I must return. I hear them calling for me! Such rapturous joys! On this day your people, my children, will be awoken once more! Their eyes have opened! Do you not feel it?! I leave you now, child. May your steps leave trails in hopes luck will follow you and your adventures ahead bring you the bliss upon your immortality!

I remade Quol...again! I need to stop. This is probably going to be THE final look of my alien dude. Through roleplay, a fuck ton of drama, and shenanigans of the violent sort, Quol managed to transcend into god hood by becoming the God of Wisdom (Intelligence/Knowledge/Wit/etc. etc. you get the idea).

In a way, he is the first avatar of Miir, alien god of his people that were made in his image. Miir being the God of Mercy/Peace and his brother, Orubung, being the God of War/Dominion have fought for hundreds and hundreds of years. Miir, being somewhat tricky, gave Quol's kind the ability to 'destroy' gods by banishing them. Such an act forced all memory and knowledge of both Miir and Orubung to be flung across the cosmos and banished from their people.

Quol discovered that he is a descendant of Miir, though countless mixing of bloodlines defaulted his godhood and diluted him to be a mere mortal. Though this does explain Quol's history and his remarkable deeds during the war. Yet Quol kicked ass again and with the "death" and destruction of his mortal form, Miir grabbed on to his soul and released Quol's true inner form to pull him free from his mortal binds and become a god. During this change, Quol's body shifted and even his gender shifted from full on male to now as a hermaphrodite given that both his kind's god and his species see hermaphrodites as a perfect union between male and female, which confirms further their more in bound tuning with nature and the gods themselves.

Hermaphrodites are VERY rare in Quol's race, given that most in their history are known to be great heroes, leaders, and even considered speakers of both Orubung and Miir themselves. The last known hermaphrodite in recent times was, ironic enough, Quol's father...
