Life's A Chibi: Being Sick

o-kemono

Being sick suck. No matter what you have, if it hinders you from getting out of bed or focusing on simple tasks or constant non-stop pain, its something you really don't want to feel any time of the day.

I remember being extremely sick while I was in Boston when I was living alone. I was bedridden for several days, unable to really do anything but curl up in pain, have shivers and random temperatures. Soryane was there to take care of me while she visited Boston for a few days. I remained in bed while she fed me and cradled me until I was well enough to go to the doctors on my own.

When you live alone and you are sick, you have to take care of yourself, pushing your body more and stressing it out to the point where you are doing more damage to your body than good. With a friend there by your side, nursing you and trying to help you get better, you start to feel better faster. Its not just the noodle soup, the chicken broth, the water towels or the cups of water and OJ that they bring you, its that feeling of being loved and taken care of that makes you feel better. Your friend sends out positive energy your way while aiding you in getting better. Your body feeds on those friendly energies and slowly starts to heal itself. The more your friend helps you, the more energy your friend gives off, the more your body gathers it and uses it to fight your illness.

Your loving support and tender care you give to someone who is sick or incapacitated does wonders to their body and helps them heal with wonderful results. Sit by their side, keep an eye on them and offer your services to help them get better.[/i]
