Fog never much liked wolves or worgs, so he took upon himself to tame one of the bears of Grizzly Hills, near a cave he found an abandoned bear cub covered in mud, after taking him back to his lodge Fog discovered the little cub was completely blind, even so the little cub grew up to become a friendly and strong adult bear, whom Fog named Mud!

He became Fogs trusty steed and best friend, helping him haul the heavy logs he chopped to and from horde outposts.
