The one on the left is 3x3 inches, on the right is 2.5x3.5.

This ABE is all about learning composition and practice in general, by observation. You watch a movie, pick a scene, pause, and paint. I did it small to keep it fast and make sure that I was sticking to learning about overall composition and not noodling in the details.

I chose The Prestige (i was going to do Role Models next but i couldn't flipping find my disk >:/) and the two scenes are from midway through the film- when Angier is being shown the transporter for the first time, and then the very last scene from the film.

I like the one on the right best, I think.
