I don't get homesick much, but when I do, I usually feel it for the Redwoods.
Something about the Telgathi'oyar, in particular, seem to me to be screaming for self inserts.

And something about their relationship to both of their home worlds seemed to me that it was appropriate to attach an 'oyar-sona to this particular feeling of belonging to a different place.
