loosely based on the Maiden-Mother-Crone figure of the Wiccan religion/belief system. I say loosely because in said belief system, the Maiden is virginal and represents girlhood and innocence, while the Mother represents the emotional, physical, spiritual and sexual maturity of womanhood, and the Crone represents wisdom, death, and the end of things.

In this instance, the Maiden (the werewolf on the left) represents young womanhood--a woman who makes mistakes and is still learning in life. She desires money, sex and approval from peers, thinking these are the things that will make her life fulfilling. She represents lust, naivety, carelessness, and an obsession with fads/temporary beauty.

The Mother (the middle werewolf) is a mature woman, who understands that she is happiest when she takes care of herself above all others. She is calm and controlled and though she knows the world can be dark and cruel, she also knows it can be loving and beautiful. She represents warmth, home, love, trust and security.

The Crone (werewolf on the right) is the elder; she is the opposite of the Maiden, and in this case, is repulsed by the world. She is bitter and very cautious, but she is wise; though most of her wisdom comes out as helpful, but exaggerated, warnings of the dangers of the world.

Each character represents all forms, stages, and emotions of womanhood that resides in all females, regardless of age or lifestyle.

Somewhere between my mind working on overdrive to finish schoolwork and other dilemmas, this idea came into my head, and I couldn't stop until I finished. I'm not too in love with the background, but I fixed it the best I could and stopped myself before I overdid it and possibly ruined it. If nothing else, it's nice to finally create something in full-color.
