Since the era of the Certhians' mass galactic seeding, thousands of their eggs would float aimlessly in the depths of space for centuries before any of them reached habitable worlds on which to hatch out and thrive upon. This was done in the name of saving their people from mass extinction, and though it yielded slow results, those who grew old enough to learn of their homeworld are commonly referred to by all Certhians as the "prodigal generation." They are meant to return to Ne'daan at a point in their lives when they grow the most curious, and many of the prodigal certhians were quick to seek out their own kind and move across galaxies toward their species' cozy little binary star system. Tai would take exceptionally long to do so, preferring to explore space at her own rate, and minimize contact with her own kind. And yet, even she will have to give in to the siren call of the homeworld as it continues to haunt her dreams with visions of brilliant nebulae cloaking the large garden world.

I got bored again and did some more certhian history canon, once again related specifically to Tai.
