Horde-55C, or simply “Horde” as it prefers to be called, is a low tech sentry android originally designed to be able to withstand and return heavy fire. Much of Horde’s frame is wrapped in double layers of kevlar and tungsten plating, protecting vulnerable filters, fuel lines, and the massively powerful computer that allows it to perform its functions. It is kept running by a simple combustion engine system housed in its chest cavity, which on Horde’s specific model happens to be air-cooled, and remains exposed out of necessity. Four ocular sensors reside in Horde’s cranial cavity, two that can sense light, color, and depth, and two that see only in infrared. Horde itself was decommissioned years ago due to defective programming that allowed it to become self aware, gaining an intense sense of modesty and self consciousness for its appearance towards humans, and it now spends its time traveling as covertly as possible.
