Dara has been gone for a few years along with Nyaren and Hiro. Just after their ship "glitched" through the planetary shield, they landed in seperate areas. Dara was found and brought back to her family house. Within her home, both her family and the family of her ex-husband Zaukarian live together in a house that also serves as a hospital.

Bopmop is Dara and Zaukarian's son. He was a toddler when they left the planet Celesraen-2. He is now 7 years old and still slightly remembers his mom and the apocalypse of his home planet.

In the last panel, Zaukarian is being cornered by the door to Dara's room by Tamera Daira (Dara's mother), who is trying to give him a vaccine. And yes, he's calling her a "she-beast" because he hates needles.
