if anyone could offer feedback re: night painting/shading with watercolours that would be helpful. in the lower panel i tried to just use a lot of greys and darker greens, but eventually just went over it with a cool grey 5 marker to darken the whole shebang and that lost most of the definition of the background. :| i used a purple pen too, not sure if that's good or bad...? suggestions are very welcome.
