He cannot feel emotion. He cannot experience the constant shifting of mentality as organic beings do. He is nothing more than a system programed to serve others and ease their burdens.

Then why does he ache inside? Why does he long for something he's not quite sure exists? There is a constant tugging at his artificial heart that he wants to let out, scream to the world and force the world to serve his needs, soothe his wounds!

Alas, he cannot let anyone know. He will remain a shell to them, lest he be cast aside as obsolete, malfunctioning. He will not show weakness. He will express nor do anything that is not expected of him. He will wait silently until called upon.

He is a machine. He exists only to serve.
