Ramos makes a living as a mercenary, guiding people through some of the southern parts of the dead land and pulling double duty as security for the trip. Her clients range from academics, to recovery specialists, to wealthy patrons with more curiosity than sense.

She is also a follower of Agrisi, and in her down time enjoys hunting Wels; the risen dead. Agrisi despises necromancy, and the church is more than happy to reward those who return the dead to their rest.

For a time she and Adrian worked together, until she decided to follow her own interests. They're still close friends, and he often confides in her, particularly about his feelings for Hilda. She teases him mercilessly for being too timid to make a move, but with the hopes that he'll finally do it.
