There's a point in the pre-story where Rocy tries to tame a dragon (for reasons) but gets outmatched and her father has to save her. In the process, she loses a chunk of her tail, and he loses most of his left arm.

I was idly thinking about how exactly this part of the scene would play out, and had the idea that maybe they lose both at the same time to a big ol' chomp. I liked the visual so much I couldn't not try to draw it. I might do more with it, but like... later.
