My boyfriend helped me with the arm and redlined the neck because man I was having soe major trouble with 'em.

HIS NAME IS CYRIL.

Originally he was going to be a Crobat, which explains the bat-like ears. But when I went to draw the wings, they just didn't... suit him. So he turned into a Gengar.

But why did I keep the ears and fangs? WELL.

Gengars steal heat from people and their environment, and heat can be a form of energy. Apparently, there's a thing called 'Energetic Vampirism' which 'is the process whereby one person, through manipulation, essentially steals some life energy from another.' It goes further than that, but it's what I'm basing him on. Which is why he has the vampy ears and teeth. uvu;

He wasn't born a ghost type; I'm going with the super overused story of him dying and becoming one. I haven't neatened up his cause of death yet, but that's okay because he doesn't remember PFFT but I'm tempted to go with he drowned during Winter. Which is why he's a Gengar. You know... stealing heat. Trying to get warm. BECAUSE HE DROWNED AND/OR FROZE IN A LAKE IDFK.

... YEAH...

He's 112 years old with the body of an 18 year old. He doesn't look like he's come from the year he was actually born in, because he's just... sort of........... blended in. Kind of. EXCUSES. I GOT 'EM.

HFFFT.

That's a Gengarite around his neck and the yelloe and red circles on his shoes are supposed to be a nod to Mega Gengar's third eye. Yeah.

I should delete Nico because he sucks and Cyril is a much better Gengar.

Also this picture probably has some errors here and there but god I'm so down with it right now. I had to redo the lineart due to the first attempt being too thick and... for some reason, transferring it from SAI to PS made the colours go all weird. So I had to rectify that, too. SIGHS.
