Timber the Female Dire Syn
This is a Dire Syn, an omnivorous, pack creature that prefers warm climates. The main branch of the species do not mate for life, they are typically very laid back, and are very friendly. They prefer day to night, are sight hunters, that come in a variety of colors with many types of markings. The main branch of this species has an average life span of about 100 years, reach full maturity at 16, and usually stand about 6ft tall.
They mate in the late fall, and pregnancies last three months. Once the cubs are born, females raise them as a group.
Males and females share the burden of hunting and gathering food. These creatures typically dig out burrows, then build shack like structures over them to keep cool during the summer, and warm in the winter.
It isn't uncommon to find the main branch of the Dire Syn species helping travelers or trading precious truffles or jerky with traveling merchants for things like blankets and chocolate.
This particular branch has a sweet tooth, and when they venture into other territories for festivals or business, they often can be found near bakeries and stalls that sell sweet treats.
The main branch of Dire Syn have small, round ears that are always drooped, some have "hair" or a mane, some do not, and have small, deer like tails.
