Yeah....seems like the last week of school really got the best of me... =_=

Thought a doodle would be best to announce this.

Monday night, I went through an episode of carpal tunnel. I've had minor wrist pains in the past, that didn't really bother me all too much. I'd simply take a 5-10min break and then get right back to work.

WELL. I guess I must have killed my hand or something now lol x'D The pain started in my shoulder (I had updated on that in my journal). That subsided, but come Monday night while I was flipping between drawing and scrolling through tumblr, my hand began to get a little cold. Like all the blood was just leaving my arm lol x3
Eventually it started to spread up my arm, and as it did, it started going numb.

I can easily say I was freaking out. Stopped everything and just kinda did some stretches with my hand for a bit. That didn't do much. Eventually..not so much pain, but more so discomfort, began to develop near my carpals.

I told my mum the next morning after just stopping and going to bed (she's a nurse) and she definitely thinks its carpal tunnel developing or possibly a pinched nerve.

So I may be going to the doctors on Thursday, depending if they have a spot available for me, to see if I can get a brace prescribed. I've heard of artists getting one to wear during the evening/when they're sleeping, and it seems to help it, so hopefully that does the trick for me too? x3

If I can't get it by Thursday, then it'll be after I get back from vacation.
Better safe than sorry, right?

UGH. It absolutely sucks, but this does mean I need to be hard on myself when it comes to rest (My last submission took me a lot longer to finish..oh man x_x).
So..once again, progress on work will slow down again (but not completely stop, like it did these last few weeks x3 I'll be working on stuff bit by bit), but I'm hoping this vacation I'll be going on will definitely help this hand heal.

Until then, I ask for everyone's patience with me. That's all u_u I'LL BE OK! Just gotta find other things to occupy myself every now and then x'D
