.: Summary :.

Well, this past year has been a wild ride. I was mainly busy throughout the months of January and April, trying to cram and finish my group film I was apart of for school. Afterwards was my internship in Toronto at a studio for the summer, so that was interesting. Although I had a lot of time in the evenings, getting up at 6am every morning and not getting back till 6pm was such a drain on me, so drawing was still pretty slow. But! I managed to get some great pieces out of that chunk of the year!

Come July, my social life picked up and I met (and began dating) a really amazing person that I'm just...so thankful for having in my life u_u peaks over shoulder to see foxjump behind me focusing on something on his laptop x3c <3
So a certain window licking fox has definitely been featured in a lot of recent art with Nicole, ahahah, that's for sure xD

And then come September, I started pushing myself with different palettes, creating dramatic moods with different lighting, etc, and getting more of a fluid style going. More shapely characters, stronger silhouettes, facial expressions continuing to improve, all that jazz.
That being said, I still have SO much more to improve on, and must continue pushing my boundaries when it comes to art.

But I'm really happy with 2015. It was a rocky start, in general, but this year took a quick turn and ended up being one of the best years of my life u_u For myself, art...everything.

I hope 2016 turns out to be even better! More improvements, I'll have more time (hopefully) come May to draw, once I'm completely done with school and can focus on freelancing, strictly, until I find a full time job in the animation industry. Although, of course, even when I DO get a job, freelancing will still be a big focus of mine.
And my one resolution for this year is to pump out commissions faster. I slacked A LOT this year..lost some respect from a couple people, as an artist, due to being slow with commissions.
It's hard for me, maintaining a social life and keeping up with school while also trying to make a bit of money on the side. And soooo many of you are understanding about it, which I'm soooo grateful for..but yeah..the odd few weren't so happy with my performance as a professional artist, so I do hope to regain that respect this year by pumping out commissions at a reasonable time period (Aiming more no more than a month or two).
I'll try, that's for sure u_u I hate disappointing people, ugh.

Anyway, so off on a better note, I really look forward to 2016, and its just going to be...so great. I can tell you that already <3
