I finally started drawing, with the help of Khatoblepas!
This is Ribnose's dragoness Drizzle. It took about an hour to do. I made her snout way too short and her top head fin looks thin, but, for a first drawing ever, I think I did very well!

All the right stuff is there! Good construction and perspective, especially around the eye area. The main things to work on here are proportion, as you already noted, and line confidence!
