Ni Hao!

There is rumor that Weibo is going to be put as an already installed app on many new technology coming out outside China. Understandably if you know what Weibo is and compare it to Twitter (I'm not gonna lie, its probably going to crush Twitter once it's fully in English). Since then many have expressed interest in this “Weibo place” (and several other Chinese stemmed softwares/games/and sites). I saw lots had trouble getting into it because they didn't understand it/ or have the preliminary requirements already 2nd-nature to those in Asian countries. So I made a hopefully comprehensible guide for those interested.

The web-based Weibo is still only in asian languages currently, there is an English setting on its mobile version though. However, there already is a growing corner of English speakers there (including several celebrities) so you're not completely alone and lost on the web-version. In fact, if you need any help figuring out Weibo. From what I've heard, just ASK and people are very friendly there and love to help.

Besides arts and writing stories here on Weasyl I hope to translate and make comprehensible how-to guides for the international software storm heading to the United States as there seems to be a lack of up-to-date ones despite the rush of those trying to obtain them. Some people just like head-starts before these sites and software are fully rendered in their native tongues. I understand that, and I'm happy to help. :3
