For like a year or so I've been working on concepts for a new fursona. I always go back to Nara the Newfoundland dog, but I just feel like something should change, and I don't want to change how she herself looks. I've toyed with the idea of a binturong, a wolf-bear hybrid, a komodo, and a couple others than never even made it to sketch phases. I've always loved sunset colors of orange fading into bright pink fading into a calm, dark purple.

So I might change some markings and colors, but so far I'm pretty happy with her! She's the same type of dragon that Sala and Skulla are, but with some individual differences. She has a pointed snout and external ears like Salamander, leg markings and a smooth mouth line like Skullamander, the same body shape, wings, claws, and flames as both of them, but gradient wing colors and upright ears that neither of them have. It's not really a set species they belong to, just a sort of type I guess?

Oh yeah, and I just got back from a 2 week long magical journey to the other side of the country and that's why I haven't done shit since Sept started. It's been driving me a little crazy not being able to draw. Lake Tahoe and San Fransisco are beautiful and Chicago is the fucking Dark Souls 2 of city driving.
