Tbh I wasn't expecting this to go as far as it did, I just wanted to try painting her with her new hair.
And admittedly I couldn't get the other eye to work so went for aesthetic aaaaand that's why crystals
BUT I really love the song Crystals by Monsters and Men anyways and it seems so fitting to her personality so I just had to run with it. And then of course glowing magic and smoke and what not because that's always fun and I love drawing that stuff

I'll probably make a partner piece to it of either Annie or Kani depending on which one I get inspiration for first? Probably Annie though since she's also associated with crystals. I dunno though really me getting the drive to paint stuff like this happens once every month or so often. So I wouldn't hold out for it </3
