Dread is a really bizarre-looking beastie but I think that's probably why I think its design is so compelling as far as modded Terraria bosses go? It gives me a similar vibe as the old Pokegod Doomsday specifically; incomprehensible, but terrifying because of how incomprehensible it is in the first place

( Also fun fact: Because the Dread Apparitions(the lil critters that drop the materials needed to make the item to summon this boss) have, at least in my experience, NOT spawned terribly often during my playthroughs with this mod(Ultranium), I've actually never fought against Dread+usually wind up skipping ahead right to fighting Absolute Dread instead bc by the time I've gotten all the Dread Flames, I've already beaten both guardians in the interim )
