New Home, New Life
I've finally arrived in Minasato, moving in with my older sister while my parents travel the world for their work, leaving me like this but oh well what is a bear to do? The bus finally comes to a stop allowing me to get off and take in the fresh air of the countryside. It's so peaceful and quiet here, I just hope it won't be boring, coming from Tokyo to here is a big change for me.
Oh I just hope I make friends.

"Naesaki-chan!" I hear a familiar voice call out to me, I quickly turn around and see my sister Haruka Nagato, a tall and slim brown bear with piercing blue eyes, aged 25, she's wearing her signature red goggles and white tank top and short blue jeans and flip flops, she's always been such a carefree girl.

Oh yeah I should probably mention, I'm a Bear and my name is Naesaki Nagato, I'm 17 years old, I love manga, light novels and video games and I've just moved to Minasato from Tokyo, for now this plans to be a permanent arrangement, as my parents will be out of the country for a long time, this small village only has the one school and it appears to accommodate elementary to high school, so a mixed class huh?

There is still a day until the new school year starts so I've got time to settle in before I'm suddenly thrown into a bunch of new people, I'm a little nervous, I hope they all like me.
I'm always nervous around new people, I'm shy, quiet, reserved and chubby, I'm not like all other bears who are big and strong, I'd like to be though.....eh....enough self pity, time to go
greet my older sister.

"Hey Haru...." I begin to speak when she suddenly smacks me on the head with a paper fan that explicitly came out of nowhere. "Hey, what did I tell you to call me?" she says angrily, I look up to her and grimace.

"I'm not a kid anymore!" I say defiantly, she just grins mischievously. "....Nee-san." I give into her demands and she beams into a big smile and hugs me. "Oh how I love being called that! Say it one more time!" she says in a dirty tone, really sister.

"Nope!" I push her away and begin walking down the street, she soon calls to me. "Lil'Bro our house is the other way!" she says with a smirk, I sigh and turn around to see her pointing towards a watermill?

I soon catch up with her and we begin walking through the main area of the village, it really is so tranquil here, as we continue down the road a blue pickup truck stops by us, and a large green dragon gets out of it. "Hey Nagato-senpai!" he says in a boisterous manner. "Ah, Tatsuki-chan, heading out on an errand?" she says politely to the towering dragon, I mean I'm a bear and I'm quite tall but he is something else.

"Yep! Would you be able to come by later? Our heater has been having some trouble." He says in a suddenly polite tone, yet his smile beams through, oh yeah my sister is a mechanic, a grease monkey if you will.

The Dragon suddenly looks at me with a curious gaze. "Who's this?" my sister pats the top of my head, I instinctively pout, not realising how this would look to anyone. "Surely you can see the family resemblance!?" she points at her face, pfft I don't look like you that much. "Oh!" Tatsuki suddenly flails his arms back with shock.

"I'm Naesaki, nice to meet you Tatsuki-senpai." I say to him shyly, I'm going to assume he's older than me, dragons mature quite quickly, though we bears do as well but still age is deceptive. "Nice to meet ya! Sorry to cut this short, I need to finish this errand! Senpai, you need to come drinking with me again!" he says with a smile before hopping back into his truck and driving off.

Well, that was abrupt, I look to my sister with a confused expression. "Starting tomorrow he'll be one of your classmates." I tilt my head at her for a moment before it dawns on me. "Wait!? He's not your age?" I say with shock.

"He's only 18, so this will be his final year of school here but I imagine he'll go straight into the craftsman trade, his family runs their own business ya know?, helped to build most of this village." She says with pride and reverence.

"Anyway little brother, it's time we head to your new home, mom and dad already sent over your things and I've already prepared your room." She gives me a thumbs up, and with that we continue walking to my new home.

I'm still in a little bit of shock over how that dragon is my classmate, he seems really friendly, let's just hope everyone else is like him. We finally reached my sister's house, a simple and elegantly built structure, it looks brand new yet has tons of character.

"Well here we are, make yourself at home lil'brother!" she says happily before running into the kitchen. "I imagine you haven't eaten today, so I'll cook us up some food, beef ramen sound good?"
"Sounds great thanks!" I take off my shoes and leave them to one side before stepping up into the main part of the house, I walk to the end of the corridor to my new room, I slide open the door and take in the new vague new room smell.

"Looks like all my manga and games are here." I say with a cheerful smile, not that anyone is here to see it, then out of the corner my eye I spot something yellow and fluffy outside my bedroom window, I open it and lift my head outside, I look around and see nothing.

Ugh, seeing things already, that's not a good sign. I walk over to my bed and collapse into it. "So this is my new home huh? My new life, my new....everything....I'm scared but I'm looking forward to it, but right now its nap time!" I slowly feel the world grow quiet as I drift off into a peaceful slumber.
