In this chapter, we meet Rora's friend, and Kyta's brother, Zo-Kyna. He's at My-Ara's home to explain Mory hunting techniques to William. He also explains a few interesting facts about the Ka'yno of Talo-Vy, especially when anyone would challenge him. During this conversation, the Ka'yno, and his requisite entourage, arrive, quite unexpectedly. Once again, his antagonism toward William rears his head. We learn here that the Ka' Mu-Naka is the Mory Keeper of the Law, a very important position within the Mory people because he is the one warrior who can literally overrule the Ka'yno in any decision the Ka'yno may make. He is the equivalent of a one-person Supreme Court.
