This painting is done from a sketch I did of a raccoon cleaning lady that was roughly inspired by a Mexican housekeeper we had for a while when I was growing up. So this lovely raccoon gets the same name...Martha.

Done in watercolors on Strathmore Cold Press, 140lb using some Aquarelle Van Gogh watercolors I picked up and a few of my old Reeves brand. Just using the two side by side, I like the Aquarelles a lot more.
